Our mission is to empower young athletes to become champions on and off the court by providing a safe and supportive environment that teaches faith-based principles of integrity, respect, and teamwork. Through basketball, we strive to instill in our players a strong sense of purpose and a commitment to excellence in all areas of their lives, while also fostering a deep appreciation for the values of faith, family, and community.
PROGRAM GOAL
Our goal is to help our players develop the skills and character they need to become leaders who will positively impact their teams, schools, and communities for years to come. 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 states, “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.” This passage from the Bible can be applied to youth sports as a call for young athletes to approach their athletic pursuits with discipline, determination, and a focus on long-term goals. In youth sports, it can be easy for young athletes to become overly focused on winning and losing, and to lose sight of the bigger pictures. By drawing on the wisdom of this passage, coaches and parents can encourage young athletes to see sports as an opportunity to develop character, perseverance, and the ability to overcome obstacles. Instead of focusing solely on winning or losing, young athletes can be taught to set personal goals, work hard to improve their skills, and compete with sportsmanship and respect for their opponents. Ultimately, by instilling the core values of 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 in young athletes, we can help them to become not just better athletes, but better people who will make a positive impact on the world around them.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Narrows Elite is a highly reputable and distinguished AAU program based in Gig Harbor, WA. Our program is focused on providing high-level training, coaching, and character-building for athletes who aspire to compete at the highest levels of their sport.
Our coaches are highly experienced and knowledgeable in their respective fields and are dedicated to providing our athletes with the best training and coaching possible. Our program offers a range of training programs, including skills clinics, camps, and competitive teams for athletes who are seeking to take their game to the next level.
At Narrows Elite, we are committed to developing the whole athlete, not just their physical abilities. We believe that building character and instilling values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership are essential for the long-term success of our athletes, both on and off the court.
To further support our athletes, we have our own exclusive team training facility located in Gig Harbor, which is available for our athletes to use. Our facility is fully equipped with state-of-the-art training equipment and resources, allowing our athletes to maximize their training and reach their full potential.
Overall, Narrows Elite is dedicated to providing our athletes with the resources, training, and coaching needed to achieve their goals and become successful both on and off the court.

Narrows Elite Basketball Club is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. A 501(c)(3) organization is a type of non-profit organization that is exempt from federal income tax and is eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions.
As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, Narrows Elite Basketball Club is recognized by the United States government as a non-profit organization that operates for charitable, religious, educational, scientific, literary, or other purposes that benefit the community. This means that any donations made to Narrows Elite Basketball Club, including those made in support of Narrows Elite, are tax-deductible for the donor.
